Grow Tips: Butterfly bush needs full sun for best performance. Grow only in well-drained soil and be sure to plant them slightly high in the hole – in other words, with the base of the plant slightly above ground level. In cold climates, prune only in spring, after the new growth has begun to appear on the stems.
