Its eye-catching blooms feature bright yellow, drooping petals surrounding a central green cone, creating a charming daisy-like appearance. Grow Tips: Tall coneflower thrives in consistently moist soils, making it perfect for areas near ponds, streams, or in rain gardens. Plant it in full sun to part shade for best growth, and it will reward you with bright, long-lasting blooms from mid to late summer. This perennial can tolerate a variety of soils, but richer, well-drained soils will encourage healthier growth. Although it can grow tall in wild settings, pruning can help maintain a more compact height in gardens. Ideal for naturalizing, it is also deer-resistant and provides food for birds.
