Rescue Dog Day at Cropley’s

Saturday, May 23^rd 11am-2pm: National Rescue Dog Day at Cropley’s Garden Center! We might be a couple days late to celebrate but (technically it’s Wednesday, May 20^th), join Cropley’s Garden Center, PawSafe Animal Rescue and Rescue Dog Food Truck, Saturday, May 23^rd from 11am-2pm.

We at Cropley’s Garden Center and Outback Landscaping love dogs, and we want to help support all those who work hard helping them find loving homes. So, we decided to link up with our friends at PawSafe Animal Rescue of Ellington, Ct. to host puppy adoption events at the garden center, we’ve hosted them a few times now and most (if not all) puppies find their fur-ever homes! Now, we can’t host all these visitors without offering a delicious snack, that’s where Rescue Dog Food Trucks come in. Owners Matt and Phil, serve up delicious hot dogs, loaded tatter tots, quesadillas, smash burgers and empanadas- then they donate part of their quarterly profits to animal rescues throughout the Hartford and surrounding area animal rescues! How could we not bring these two amazing organizations together into one event?

Along with our National Rescue Dog Day at Cropley’s we’re also hosting the first ever Cropley’s Garden Center Rescue Dog Photo Contest! From Sunday, May 7^th to Sunday, May 17^th email your favorite pictures of your rescued dogs to Cropleys1984@gmail.com and we’ll announce the winner on National Rescue Dog Day, Wednesday, May 20^th. First place wins a $75 Cropley’s Garden Center Gift Card, second place takes home a Cropley’s Garden Center t-shirt and PawSafe Animal Rescue t-shirt!
